Antique F. Winkle & Co. Colonial Pottery Transferware Thunder Mug

Antique English colonial pottery thunder mug.  Vintage brown transferware Melbourn semi-porcelain chamber pot. Late 19th century large ceramic single handled serving bowl, jug, or crock. Made by F. Winkle & Co, between 1890-1910, in Stoke-On-Trent, England. Decorated in their transfer-ware “Melbourne” pattern featuring floral motifs with birds separated with geometric shapes.

It is marked on bottom "Melbourne, RaNo 102018, Winkle & Co, Stoke-On-Trent, England."

In great condition, with no chips or cracks. It does show various tiny marks like rub and contact marks here and there from age, included in photos.

Great for french cottage, country, and farmhouse styling, and work well as a planter too.
Measurements are 8.5” across, 10” if including the handle. With an opening 7” in diameter. Stands with a height of 4.5”. Scale is also shown in pictures.
